NASP-Approved CPD
NASP recently developed the NASP Approved Provider of Continuing Professional Development Program. It recognizes organizations that agree to follow NASP guidelines in providing high quality professional development for school psychologists. Affiliated state school psychology associations, commercial providers, universities, and other groups are eligible to participate. For our members, the words NASP Approved CPD will become a "seal of approval" indicating that a training activity has specific learning objectives, falls within a practice domain, is taught by an expert instructor, and should enhance their professional knowledge or skills. NASP itself is already providing Approved CPD for selected training activities. NASP is also an APA-approved provider of CPD for psychologists. We provide APA-approved attendance documentation for convention workshops.
