When and where is the NASP Annual Convention being held?

The 2009 Annual Convention, “Take Strides to Make a Difference,” will be held February 24-28, in Boston. The convention dates and locations for future meetings are also available.

Do I earn professional development credits for attending the convention?

You may earn continuing professional development (CPD) credits for attending most convention activities. By participating in convention sessions, you may earn between 35 and 40 CPD credits. The exact number will depend on the final program.

Can I assist with the Annual Convention?

There are several ways to be an assistant at the Annual Convention. Convention assistants are needed to assist with workshops, poster presentations, the Children’s Fund auction, the 5K Walk/Run, and more. In order to sign up, you must have a current NASP membership and be registered for the convention. Student members assisting for four hours of service or more are eligible for a refund of their convention registration fees.
